This complete jig assembly is designed specifically for the flats sold by others for new builds only. This unit accurately locates all of the drilling holes as well including the select-fire trigger pack hole for use by Class II manufacturers. The entire process for which my jig is designed may be easily done with only a drill press. If you can weld, you are no longer dependent on other manufacturers (and their grossly inflated pricings) for owning or making one of these fine rifles.

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS UNIT IF YOU ARE STARTING WITH A FINISHED SEMI RECEIVER-THERE IS ANOTHER UNIT LISTED SPECIFICALLY FOR YOUR STARTING WITH SEMI RIFLES. It is also less in price since there are fewer expensive bushings needed.

As is evident from the photos included here, considerably more time was spent in the design and manufacture of these jigs as well as creating the very detailed jig usage instructions with color 3D CAD drawings with regards to the rest of my jig product line. This jig works with all 90 series rifles in the HK line (9mm, 5.56, and 7.62). A spacer is provided for the shorter chassis of the 9mm and 5.56.

Hardened steel drilling bushings have been inserted into the sideplates for the rear stock hole(s), the select-fire trigger group holes, as well as the magazine release button holes for long-term reuse (patent pending). I have found on a few flats that both the stock holes as well as the magazine release holes missing on the stampings-which is very disappointing. That is no longer an issue.

An innovative approach was done to keep this jig totally captive during the drilling process. A bolt-clamping insert was designed to keep the jig drawn up tight against the receiver bottom (see the video below for easier conceptualization). Forward and rearward facing planes contained in this jig prevent any movement either front or back. The combination of these ‘limits’ completely prevent movement in any direction.
